We are a premier CARF‑accredited life‑care retirement community in Annapolis and are seeking a Part‑Time Registered Dietitian to join our Culinary Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dietitian who enjoys working collaboratively with nursing, culinary, and interdisciplinary teams to improve the health and quality of life of older adults.

What You’ll Do As our Registered Dietitian, you’ll play an essential role in supporting resident health through nutrition assessment, education, and collaboration with our healthcare and culinary teams.

Complete nutrition assessments and participate in interdisciplinary care planning

Document nutrition assessments and interventions within the electronic medical record (EMR)

Monitor residents’ nutritional status and recommend interventions as appropriate

Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families

Meet with residents during meal service to evaluate satisfaction and nutritional needs

Assist new residents with successful dining transitions

Support hydration and nutrition initiatives throughout the community

Collaborate with nursing, physicians, speech therapy, and culinary leadership to optimize resident outcomes

Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives

Conduct staff education and in‑service training on nutrition‑related topics

Qualifications College degree in Nutrition or related field; Registered/licensed dietitian with maintained licensure

Minimum five years’ experience in a healthcare environment preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Concern, responsiveness, and tact when dealing with colleagues, residents, and families

Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve wellness goals for residents
