Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Hermitage, TN. This role involves providing high-quality care in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and systems such as Meditech.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel
Provide direct patient care, using critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patient conditions
Operate and manage equipment like bipaps, high flow oxygen, and ventilatory support
Administer cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips, and perform peritoneal dialysis
Conduct procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech
Utilize effective communication strategies, including AIDET and patient rounding
Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip management, and insulin drip administration
Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and management
Experience with high-flow oxygen and various delivery systems
Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis
