At GEO, we believe in the three pillars of employee wellbeing: physical, emotional, and financial. Select and recommend new instructional materials and programs for use in the substance abuse program.
Maintain knowledge of new developments in the field of substance abuse.
Complete required testing, assessment, and psychosocial history on incoming residents as required.
Participate in related training for substance abuse.
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting or;
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting and one (1) year of professional experience in chemical additions counseling; An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional experience in chemical addition counseling.

Must meet DDAP requirements for a Counselor.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
