Electrician
This role involves performing a wide range of electrical construction tasks, including conduit and pipe bending, MC and BX wire pulling, roughing in apartments, installing and wiring electrical boxes, and reading and working from blueprints. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including three-way switches and generators, while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards on active construction sites.
Responsibilities

Install, bend, and route conduit and pipe using EMT and other materials according to project specifications and prints.
Pull MC and BX cable and other types of wiring for roughing in apartments and other residential or commercial spaces.
Install and wire electrical boxes, devices, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and project requirements.
Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and conduit prints to lay out and complete electrical installations.
Perform wiring and terminations for circuits, panels, switches, and equipment, including three-way switches and generators.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify issues, and perform repairs or adjustments to restore proper operation.
Lay out conduit runs and electrical pathways to ensure efficient, code-compliant installations.
Assist with or lead installation of electrical systems on construction projects as a lead electrician, journeyman, or electrical mechanic.
Use appropriate tools and equipment to bend conduit, pull wire, and install electrical components safely and efficiently.
Follow OSHA and site safety requirements at all times, including the use of full PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate work and maintain project schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly used and stored.
Essential Skills

• 5–10 years of experience as an electrician in construction environments.
• Proficiency in conduit bending, including EMT and other conduit systems.
• Strong experience with wiring, including pulling MC and BX wire and other conductors.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and conduit prints.
• Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving issues efficiently.
• Experience installing and wiring electrical boxes, circuits, and devices.
• Knowledge and practical use of three-way switches and generator wiring.
• Understanding of OSHA safety practices and ability to work safely on construction sites.
• Capability to lay out conduit runs and electrical installations from plans.
• Experience working as a lead electrician, journeyman, or electrical mechanic on construction projects.

Experience installing, bending, and routing various types of conduit in different environments.
Experience in electrical construction, including roughing in apartments and similar projects.
Ability to install and troubleshoot generators and related electrical components.
Familiarity with installing and reading detailed electrical prints and layouts.
Experience leading or mentoring other electricians or helpers on site.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with site personnel and other trades.

Work Environment
This role is based on active construction sites with a typical start time of 7:00 AM. You will receive specific site contact instructions upon arrival as part of the onboarding process. The position requires full personal protective equipment (PPE) in line with OSHA and site safety standards, and you will follow an enhanced onboarding process that includes a detailed tool list and safety expectations. Work involves hands-on use of electrical tools and equipment for conduit bending, wiring, installation, and troubleshooting in a field construction environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
