Care Center Receptionist

Join our winning team at Golden Haven Care Center! We’re currently seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our care center. If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Preferred: Bilingual in English and Armenian
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Operate a multi-line phone system or switchboard; direct incoming calls to the appropriate parties.
Take and relay messages accurately; may operate a paging system.
Maintain call logs and follow up as needed.
Provide general information to callers and visitors.
Perform additional clerical tasks as assigned.
Support customer satisfaction in areas such as service quality and issue resolution.
Comply with all HIPAA, safety, and company policies.
Report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
Attend mandatory safety meetings, training, and compliance programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Bilingual (English/Armenian) preferred.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
Basic computer and phone skills (email, texting, etc.).
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Professional, respectful, and team-oriented demeanor.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Skills & Attributes
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions and maintain flexibility in duties.
Familiarity with safety and OSHA standards is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Ability to walk, reach, bend, stoop, push/pull as needed.
Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.
