Now Hiring: Marine Electricians
NSC Staffing is seeking skilled Marine Electricians for an exciting upcoming project in San Diego. We are seeking candidates with 2-5 years of experience as an electrician, possessing solid working knowledge of shipboard and industrial/commercial practices, particularly on military bases and industrial facilities.
As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Repairing, installing, replacing, and testing complex electrical circuits, cables, and equipment.
- Utilizing hand tools and specialized testing equipment for inspection and maintenance.
- Inspecting and testing various electrical systems, including lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
- Identifying defects in electrical systems such as wiring, switches, and motors using specialized tools.
- Dismantling and repairing electrical machinery, replacing defective mechanical or electrical components.
- Installing motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and completing circuits according to diagrams.
- Participating in special projects as required.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a commercial or marine electrician.
- Hands-on experience with complex electrical systems and components.
- Strong working knowledge of shipboard and industrial/commercial electrical systems.
