Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, working 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with some weekend shifts required.
Job Description
Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery. The ideal candidate will float between units as necessary and provide high-quality care to patients in various stages of childbirth and antepartum management.
Responsibilities
Administer care to laboring patients, including monitoring high-risk deliveries, and managing maternal emergencies.
Utilize advanced skills in induction, augmentation, and active management of laboring patients.
Provide education and support to patients regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Document patient care effectively using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active RN license in the state of practice (Compact license accepted).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM.
Proficient in the Epic charting system.
