Finance Manager job at Social Factor. Social Factor is looking for an experienced remote Finance Manager to join the team! The Finance Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and providing insights to guide budgeting and forecasting. This role combines day‑to‑day accounting with forward‑looking financial analysis, making it an excellent fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
Accounting & Reporting
Manage daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bill payments
Payroll & Compliance
Support biweekly payroll and benefits contributions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Support year‑end audit and tax preparation
Client & Project Support
Partner with client teams to ensure accurate project financials and margin tracking
Prepare ad hoc financial reports for client pitches, renewals, and strategic planning
Financial Operations
Maintain relationships with banking partners
Support cash flow management and reporting
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Ability to come in for occasional in person meetings in DFW or Austin area but primarily work from home
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4 years+ of accounting experience (agency or professional services experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Excel/Google Sheets; experience with expense management and payroll systems a plus
Work with a social media agency, social platform, ad agency or similar industry a plus
