Employee Assistance Program Counselor - Full-time

Our team is more than 1,000 strong, serving the Greater Philadelphia community tirelessly for over 80 years. Our programs are designed to help individuals have a better quality of life. We serve those with disabilities and people facing tough socio-economic conditions. The Work Ready program provides employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who require specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.
This position is full-time, 35 hours per week.
Provide appropriate community service sites, job search and job placement activities; place clients at those sites
Arrange for on-site employer presentations
A bachelor’s degree or two years of college course work (Associates degree) in psychology, education, social work, vocational or other allied and appropriate fields and at least two years’ experience in social agencies or special training may be substituted in lieu college degree.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers in the Welfare to Work Industry.
Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel). Willingness to learn JEVS specific database.
