Server (Night Shift)

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. During Arena events, the Wait Staff provides beverage service to guests at tables and assists with any food or general event related guest inquiries. Set up club space prior to event andmaintaincleanliness of space during event to include re-setting tables and stations asrequired

Takeaccuratebeverage order and deliver beverages to guests ina timelyand courteous manner

Adhere to Department of Health food handling regulations and Company’s alcohol service guidelines

Provide excellent customer service to guests and for serve food and beverages to guests ina timely,courteousandaccuratemanner

Responsible for checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages

Able to walk and stand during the entire shift andassistingwith set up of the dining room and other work areas

Maintains the cleanliness of assigned work area andassistwith all guest service functions

Position could be assigned to another area within Premium, as per Local 100 contract and call sheet order.

Minimum of 2 years Food & Beverage experience in a front of house role

Food & Beverage product knowledge; Proper knowledge of New York State Board of Health Food and alcohol handling rules a plus

This person must havegood communicationskills, a commitment to high-quality customer service and be able to handle the high-pressure environment

Prior waitstaff experiencerequired.

Commitment to guest service and ability to handle a high-energy environment

Available to work flexible hours

Able to walk and stand during the entire shift

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol

This position works nights,weekendsand holidays.
