Additional Details about the position
Preoperative Assessment & Preparation:

Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent.
Review patient medical history, allergies, and pre-op labs.
Prepare the OR room with necessary equipment and supplies.
Intraoperative Care & Safety:
Aseptic Technique: Enforce sterile field integrity throughout the surgery.
Patient Positioning: Properly position the patient to prevent injury (e.g., nerve damage, pressure ulcers).
Surgical Counts: Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments with the scrub person before, during, and after the procedure to prevent retained items.
Provide a thorough report to PACU nurses regarding the procedure, anesthesia, and any complications.
Endoscopy cases are high
Pain management procedures/cases are high

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 Years relevant experience
• Must have seen Ortho cases; knees & shoulder
• Need ortho experience
