Senior Director, Research & Development / Head of R&D, Medical Devices
My client, a global medical device company, needs a Senior Director of R&D to lead its acute care platform. You'll own the pipeline for connected devices, capital equipment, software, and AI/ML clinical decision support, from concept through commercialization.
Set the R&D strategy and innovation roadmap for the acute care platform
- Own new product development and sustaining engineering
- Build and develop a team of scientists, engineers, and technical leaders of circa 60 employees across both domestic and international locations
- Based in Metro Atlanta, GA area
- $240K to $260k plus bonus and LTI
- Full relocation available to non-local candidates.
Define the platform R&D strategy and build business cases for new technologies
Lead programs end to end across hardware, software, systems engineering, and informatics
Oversee design reviews, risk management, V&V strategy, and transfer to manufacturing
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related area.
You've led development spanning systems engineering, software, hardware, and capital equipment
