URGENT* Telemetry RN / Registered Nurse

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care primarily on the 3 North Long Term Observation unit, with responsibilities extending to other Med-Surgical units such as Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and potentially the Emergency Department. The role requires expertise in telemetry and Med-Surgical nursing, proficiency with Epic EMR, and the ability to perform patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. Deliver nursing care on the Long Term Observation unit and float to other Med-Surgical and Emergency Department units as needed.

Perform patient assessments and monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms.

Administer medications and execute treatment plans according to physician orders.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.

Adhere to all clinical competencies and safety protocols, including telemetry reading and BCRA monitoring.

Participate in ongoing competency evaluations and training as required.

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.

Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Telemetry and Med-Surgical nursing.

Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Record system (no refresher training provided).

Ability to accurately read telemetry and BCRA; must pass competency testing on day one.

Experience or knowledge in Emergency Department nursing.

Additional certifications related to specialty Med-Surgical areas.

Primary assignment on 3 North Long Term Observation unit with required floating to other units.

Immediate termination if Epic EMR proficiency or telemetry competency is not met.

36 hours per week, day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

• Shift assignments include every other weekend coverage.
