Assistant Facilities Manager – Austin, TX

Responsibilities Drive operational excellence and service delivery at the Omnicom site, overseeing end‑to‑end integrated facilities management services and ensuring business continuity and financial performance.

Lead FM teams and build high‑performing staff while maintaining trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.

Execute comprehensive work order management using CAFM systems, meeting or exceeding SLA parameters and maintaining detailed performance metrics.

Provide expert customer service to C‑suite executives and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for facilities‑related needs.

Support emergency response coordination and business continuity planning, ensuring rapid mobilization protocols are in place and tested regularly.

Maintain compliance documentation and regulatory reporting to ensure audit readiness across health, safety, environmental, and building code requirements.

Oversee vendor relationships and performance, working collaboratively with suppliers to meet FM spend‑related KPIs such as Open POs, GRNV, and UMLV.

Support digital transformation initiatives, including IoT implementation and smart building technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making.

Execute daily sustainability practices—energy management, waste reduction, water conservation—and monitor building systems performance through BMS analysis to identify optimization opportunities.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across FM teams, championing inclusivity and supporting each team member's professional development.

Conduct regular sustainability inspections, coordinate recycling programs, and implement green cleaning protocols to support ESG objectives and certification renewals.

Required Qualifications Progressive experience in corporate real estate services management with demonstrable expertise in integrated facilities management.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex service delivery operations in corporate environments.

Solid financial acumen with hands‑on experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and cost‑optimization programs.

Strong customer service orientation with experience supporting executive‑level stakeholders and managing escalations professionally.

Working knowledge of building automation systems, energy management platforms, and sustainability frameworks.

Proficiency with CAFM systems and work order management tools to drive operational efficiency.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance with understanding of regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience supporting P&L management and driving profitability targets within facilities management operations.

Familiarity with major corporate relocations, renovations, and change‑management initiatives.

Background working with global accounts or multinational clients in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.

Experience with vendor rationalization programs and strategic procurement initiatives.

Knowledge of IoT technologies, smart building platforms, and data analytics tools for performance optimization.

Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, LEED AP, or similar credentials demonstrating technical expertise.
