RN/LPN Full or Part Time Care Center - NOC Shift

Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Following the care plan, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes
Assumes responsibility for assignments given, seeks supervision appropriately, and is accountable for his/her actions by performing within the limits of his/her education and experience
Performs basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and monitoring patient conditions.
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and performs nursing procedures and techniques within scope of practice.
Use equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently
Utilizes medical terminology to accurately document patient information
Provide acute care for patients with various medical conditions
Valid LPN license in the state of New York
Knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
Experience in infant care and knowledge of developmental milestones
Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
Understanding of ophthalmology procedures and post-operative care requirements
Experience in acute care settings, including monitoring patients' conditions and responding to emergencies
Proficiency in administering tube feedings and monitoring nutritional status
Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00 per hour
