Salary: $135,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of test experience, or a masters degree in a STEM discipline.

Experience troubleshooting test equipment, test tooling, and test harnesses.

Experience with test automation or lean manufacturing/testing methods.

Demonstrated technical writing and/or procedure development skills.

Ability to travel between our Oxnard and Goleta, California sites and to support customers, approximately 10% of the time.

U.S. citizenship.

Preferred: 3 or more years of test engineering experience.

Preferred: Proficiency in test automation software such as LabVIEW.

Preferred: Proficiency measuring and controlling electronic components, including motors, actuators, positional sensing devices, and load transducers.

Preferred: Aerospace or aeronautical industry experience.

Preferred: Strong presentation, oral, written, and listening skills; self-motivation; ability to organize and prioritize work; ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team; adaptability to changing requirements; and proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Required experience: 3 years in aerospace, 3 years with LabVIEW, 3 years with Jira, and 2 years with Confluence.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.

Plan and coordinate the labor, schedules, and equipment needed to test and evaluate standard and specialized devices.

Compile test data and identify changes needed to equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or testing requirements.

Test customer samples and perform special tests that cannot be conducted in the test area.

Collaborate across the Operating Unit to plan, coordinate, set up, execute, and report on product tests, including data reduction and post-test processing.

Integrate products with test tooling, software, equipment, and instrumentation.

Collect and review test data, prepare reports, and support verification of test requirements.

Contribute to technical writing and test documentation.

Participate in and present at internal and customer reviews.

Apply modern tools and methods to reduce product testing costs and schedules.

Meet the Operations Test Engineering safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations for internal and external customers across product value streams.
