Estimator (Estimator) Full-Time

A full‑time, salaried Estimator position is available with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Candidates must have previous estimating experience, preferably in the water, wastewater, or industrial markets, including heavy civil earthwork, cast‑in‑place concrete structures, underground yard piping, or above‑grade process piping systems. Experience with at‑risk self‑performing contracts is preferred over construction manager at‑risk delivery methods.

Preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Reviewing project documents, plans, specifications, and addenda completely and accurately.

Analyzing and compiling estimate data that impacts labor, materials, equipment requirements, location, and other factors.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier proposals.

Developing and maintaining business relationships with small businesses, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Preparing contingency and risk analysis for the estimate and pre‑review.

Communicating estimate bid information to field operations during pre‑construction meetings to ensure understanding of scope and critical means and methods.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to review take‑off quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates and to review drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions.
