Here, you will work alongside passionate physicians, nurses and other caregivers in a family-oriented, supportive environment.Martin South Hospital's Telemetry Unit cares for cardiac patients and monitors their heart rhythm. As an RN on the team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will care for patients through assessments, performing wound care and dressing changes, passing medication and more, all while fostering strong connections with patients and families. Here, you will be a part of a team that feels like family and have a true impact on patient care. Additionally, you will be able to develop your nursing skills with each interaction, which can lead to growth within the unit or other areas of the hospital.A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30 AM.Provide direct nursing care.Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossOne year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Physical Requirements:Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.The policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
