Pay Ranges: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders. This role plays a vital part in improving residents' communication abilities, safety, and overall quality of life. Reporting: This position collaborates closely with the rehabilitation team, interdisciplinary staff, residents, and families to support comprehensive care planning.

Role Overview

Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized therapy treatment plans
Document therapy sessions and resident progress accurately and timely
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and residents' families
Participate in care planning and PDPM processes
Mentor and support Speech-Language Pathology assistants, as applicable
What We're Looking For

Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply; experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and skilled nursing facility regulations
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
