Job Description As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badges and access permissions, respond to alarms, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry, issuing access badges as authorized, and directing personnel and deliveries according to site procedures.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, access events, deliveries, and unusual conditions in accordance with site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, warehouse areas, loading docks, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
