Registered Nurse – PCU
Schedule
Day shifts 3x12 hours (06:45 - 19:15).
Assignment Details
This is a float pool position, no home unit will be assigned. Clinicians will float between multiple units including Med/Surg, Intermediate, and PCU Departments, and may float to other campuses as needed. Contract length is 13 weeks with guaranteed 3 shifts per contract period.
Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, and Neuro Stepdown required.
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management required.
• Additional clinical experience in cardiovascular procedures, sepsis management, wound care, renal failure, and stroke care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a high-acuity unit.
Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient status and intervention outcomes accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate protocols.
