Primary Activities/Duties Visually inspect parts for compliance with quality requirements.
Read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for machined components and assemblies.
Use inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.
Review and refine data collection requirements based on customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase orders, sketches, and PPAP standards.
Act as an impartial third party between production and customer to ensure product quality.
Perform a variety of inspection tasks with minimal supervision.
Communicate inspection findings and non-conformances to relevant stakeholders.
Use measuring and testing equipment as needed.
Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with health and safety policies.
Collect and record inspection data.
Utilize company portal for time tracking and policy acknowledgements.
Additional personal protective equipment as required.
Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
Stand for extended periods and occasionally work at a computer.
Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse areas with exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, and high noise levels.
May be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Regular use of cleaning solvents, oils, lubricants, and other substances.
Knowledge & Experience High school diploma or GED required.
One year of related experience or training preferred; Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP is a plus.
