We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting night shift opportunity in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position requires strong leadership skills as the RN will routinely work as the Night Charge Nurse.

Unit Information
The role will be situated on the 7th Floor Tower, focusing on surgical acute care and telemetry for a wide range of medical-surgical patients. The unit is staffed with 29 beds and features an on-site Central Monitoring Unit (CMU) for patient telemetry.
Lead nursing staff and manage patient care as the Night Shift Charge RN.
Provide care to post-surgical patients and those requiring telemetry monitoring.
Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 on night shifts.
Float between various like units as required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing role.
Previous Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
Robust experience with various nursing skills, including central line management, telemetry, and surgical drain care.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with daily census around 29 patients. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various specialties such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Candidates may be required to float to nearby sister facilities.
