The Associate Counsel provides legal support in general corporate and commercial matters that include but are not limited to contract negotiation and management as well as regulatory compliance. The Associate Counsel will mitigate legal risk while considering business and operational needs.

Advise on various legal issues relating to company business practices.

Review, draft, and assist in the negotiation of various contracts and agreements, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.

Assist with regulatory compliance issues.

Assist in developing legal training materials.

Provide support in maintaining executed agreements and other corporate documents.

Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering or other technical degrees are a plus).

Must be a licensed attorney and in good standing to practice law in the United States.

Previous legal experience is a plus, but not required.

Spanish/Japanese bilingual abilities and/or experience living in Japan or working with Japanese companies are a plus.

Position can be 100% remote, but the ability to work at least one day a week from one of our facilities (Schaumburg, IL; Travel: Ability to travel up to 5% annually (globally) for meetings and conferences.
