As a Detail Technician, you play a critical role in creating unforgettable first impressions and delivering vehicles that exceed our customers' expectations.Position SummaryThe Detail Technician is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing both new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery, display, and customer service appointments. Key ResponsibilitiesThoroughly wash, dry, wax, and detail interior and exterior surfaces of vehicles.Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery, shampoo interiors, and remove stains.Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, door jambs, engine compartments, and trim.Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery to ensure a showroom-quality presentation.Inspect vehicles for cosmetic imperfections and report any damage to management.Keep detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas clean, organized, and maintained.Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations regarding chemicals and equipment.Work efficiently to meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality.Assist with dealership events, vehicle photography, and special projects as needed.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.What Success Looks LikeA successful Detail Technician consistently delivers vehicles that customers are proud to drive, maintains a clean and organized workspace, works efficiently without sacrificing quality, and represents Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte with professionalism every day.Our Core ValuesAt Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte, our culture is built on more than selling vehicles—we build relationships, trust, and careers.Customer ObsessionEvery customer deserves an exceptional experience.
