Automotive Detailer - Full Time

Overview

Responsibilities

Track and monitor maintenance of DriveTime vehicles.

Perform inspections and coordinate with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.

Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards.

Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.

Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution for retail.

Record daily inventory of vehicles that arrive from auctions.

Keep the area clean and organized to avoid spills and hazards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Minimum age 18 years.

Comfortable operating all vehicles at the Reconditioning Center.

Ability to perform inspections and keep detailed, accurate records of the condition of vehicles.

Knowledge of company cosmetic standards and commitment to maintaining them.

Adherence to safety practices to eliminate hazards to self and teammates.

Ability to work cohesively with management and team members.

Physical Requirements
This position is designated as a safety sensitive position and requires:

Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate vehicles and machinery.

Capability to move objects up to 60 pounds.

Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.

Ability to move oneself in confined spaces, including under vehicles.

Frequent communication with internal customers and exchange of accurate information.

Frequent movement throughout the workplace.

Tolerance to environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or emit fumes or odors.

Communication in English.
