Head of Recruiting & HR

Ole Tyme Produce is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of human resources in a fast-paced, growing organization. Reporting to the President/CEO and Chief of Staff, this role will partner with leadership and managers to build a positive, productive workplace while ensuring strong HR practices and compliance.

Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives across the organization.

Administer employee benefits, payroll/timekeeping, leave, compensation, personnel records, and other HR programs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, insurance, and DOT requirements, maintaining accurate employment and driver documentation.

Manage employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, workplace investigations, unemployment claims, and workers’ compensation matters.

Partner with managers and senior leadership on employee engagement, training, coaching, performance development, and organizational initiatives.

Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, communications, surveys, and programs that support company culture and business objectives.

Monitor HR trends, metrics, and regulatory changes and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to leadership.

We are a proud local company located in St. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or 35 years of relevant HR experience.

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate employees while supporting a positive and productive workplace.

Strong knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, employee relations, and HR administration.

Highly organized and detailoriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
