The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor complex conditions, and respond swiftly in high-acuity situations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICUContinuously monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatmentAdminister medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventionsOperate and monitor critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, etc.)Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teamsMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationEducate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectationsEnsure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standardsMust-Have QualificationsActive RN License in the state of New MexicoAssociate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hireNice-To-Have Qualifications1+ year of ICU (Critical Care) experience1+ year of overall nursing experienceRequired SkillsStrong critical care and patient monitoring skillsAbility to work effectively in high-pressure environmentsExcellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage complex casesEducation & CertificationAssociate Degree in Nursing (required)Active RN License (New Mexico)BLS Certification (required)ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire)Work EnvironmentHospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)High-acuity, fast-paced environmentCollaborative multidisciplinary team
