Direct Support Professional | PT Weekend Shift

FT & PT Direct Support Professional | DSP | $20 / hour | West County St. Easterseals leads the way to full equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, families, and our community. Community makes us all stronger. As a Community Living Specialist with Easterseals, you'll work alongside people with disabilities to help them thrive in their homes and their community.

The Community Living Specialist is equivalent to a Direct Support Professional or a DSP and provides daily assistance, care taking and supports for individuals with disabilities living in their home. This position provides direct care support, education and advocacy as outlined in the individual's support plan and ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.

Whether you've had previous experience as a caretaker, care provider, C.A, residential care provider, DSP, RBT, social worker, teacher's assistant, teacher's aide, direct support professional or nursing assistant or you just love helping people and this is something you've always wanted to try, we want to hear from you! Part-time employment, 12 hour shifts on a Saturday or Sunday

Full-time employment, 8 & 12 hour shifts evenings and weekends

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Must have your own vehicle, and documentation for a valid driver's license and car insurance.

Experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities preferred.

Must have basic computer skills and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
