Responsibilities
Performs a variety of secretarial/clerical duties to support supervisory and administrative personnel in handling daily activities.
Processes purchase orders and reviews check requests for proper documentation.
Prepares checks to pay bills.
Posts ledgers.
Reconciles monthly and yearly accounts and maintains balanced accounts.
Receives, counts, records, and deposits all monies collected.
Follows all federal, state laws and local Board policies.
Compiles financial information for the school site as requested.
Participates in meetings, in‑service trainings, and workshops to gather information needed to perform job functions.
Requests quotes for cost information to secure needed items for the school site.
Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Bookkeeping certification preferred.
Strong math and computer skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail‑oriented.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
