MIG Welder | Welding | Fabrication

This role involves performing MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to learn and support additional fabrication processes. You will focus on producing high-quality welds, working safely with welding and fabrication equipment, and contributing to the efficient production of metal parts.

Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal parts and assemblies to meet production and quality requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine welding and fabrication specifications.

Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures and guidelines.

Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication to ensure proper fit and finish.

Assist with cutting, tube bending, and other fabrication processes as needed to support production.

Apply mechanical aptitude and testing or quality assurance practices to verify the integrity of welds and assemblies.

Follow all safety policies and procedures while working with welding equipment, fabrication tools, and around water.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.

Proficiency in performing MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies.

Skill in setting up and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Experience inspecting welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Mechanical aptitude to work with fabrication tools, equipment, and metal components.

Ability to grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.

Dependability, strong attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

This position operates in a manufacturing setting that is non-climate-controlled, where you will work around water throughout the day and handle metal components and assemblies. and regularly using welding and fabrication equipment such as MIG and TIG welders, grinders, cutting tools, and tube bending machinery. You will work in a hands-on, industrial environment that prioritizes safe operation of equipment, proper handling of materials, and maintaining an organized workspace. This is a Contract position based out of Riviera Beach, FL.
