Experience in EKG interpretation and managing cardiac drips is necessary.
Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in a telemetry setting.
The patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:4-5.
Nurses will perform assessments and monitor patient vital signs.
They will administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborative interdisciplinary support will be available.
The patient population will include adults with various cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities include managing care for patients with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and acute coronary syndromes.
Nurses will also assist in procedures such as cardiac catheterization and echocardiograms.
This role requires the utilization of a robust electronic charting system.
All nurses will float within the service line as needed.
The schedule will require working every other weekend.
RTO restrictions apply; no more than 7 days of RTO are allowed per contract.
