Custodial Maintenance PositionThis position is responsible for the custodial maintenance of campus buildings and facilities. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.washes windows, walls, glass doors, and classroom equipment; Sweeps, mops, buffs, strips, and waxes floors; Reports damaged structures and equipment; Moves office furniture and equipment; assists in setting up facilities for special events.Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.experience with commercial floor care equipment is desirable.Ability to exercise care in the exposure to chemical, mechanical or electrical hazards.Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and tools used in custodial services.Knowledge of and ability to use related equipment including, but not limited to, rotary buffers and carpet extracting machines.USG Core Values:The University System of Georgia is comprised of our 26 institutions of higher education and learning as well as the System Office.
