Part-Time Commissary Cook (Small Batch Soup) — $25/hr — Troy, NY Simply Soupreme, a growing Hudson Valley plant-based soup company, is hiring a part-time Production Cook to make our soups at batch scale in our Troy commissary kitchen.
$25/hour · 3 days a week (24 hrs) · On-site at the Capital Roots kitchen, Troy
What you'll do:
Cook our soups from established recipes in large batches — consistent every time
Run production from prep through packaging, cooling, and storage
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe
At times direct a prep cook, and work closely with our founder and head chef
What you bring:
Real experience preparing products from recipes at large-batch or production scale
Strong kitchen fundamentals and recipe discipline
Food-safety knowledge (ServSafe a plus)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with the physical pace of a production kitchen
