The Physician is an independent health care provider who, working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, is responsible for providing medical services services to the adult, geriatric and pediatric patients. This roles primary duties are assessment, diagnosis and treatment of homeless individuals at both outreach and clinic sites. This role reports to the Director of Internal Medicine.

Effectively provide quality chronic, preventive, acute and outreach care based on established standards of care

Accurately complete documentation of services in the electronic medical record

Models and reinforces the core values of dignity, authenticity, hope, justice, passion and balance Protects our clients personal health information by maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other relevant Health Care related IT security regulations

Graduate of an accredited school of medicine

Possesses a registered physicians license in Maryland

experience in a community or public health setting working with the underserved is preferred

Comfortable working with homeless and/or low-income individuals and families

Able to cope with interruptions, be flexible, and be a team player

Flexible approach, working with several cross-disciplinary teams in a collaborative style
