At Harmony Whole Person Oral Healthcare, we are more than just providers; we are partners in your journey to better health, offering convenient, affordable, and exceptional care that supports every aspect of your well-being.Position Summary: As a Dental Hygienist, you will work alongside our dentists and clinical team to provide dental cleanings and education on proper oral hygiene techniques.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare treatment room for patientsMaintain instruments and sterilizationPatient screening procedures; review patient health historyRemove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of teethApply preventative materials to teeth (i.e. fluorides)Review oral hygiene strategies and directives with patients (i.e. brushing, flossing, etc.)Counsel patients about good nutrition and impact on oral healthPerform documentation and office management activitiesSecondary Responsibilities:Take dental radiographsMaintain dental supplies inventory hygiene proceduresMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending CE workshopsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededQualifications:A minimum of 3 years of practice experience with prior leadership or mentoring experience in a clinical settingActive and unrestricted state dental hygiene licenseA commitment to providing patient-centered care that integrates oral health with overall health and well-beingStrong ethical grounding in patient care and confidentialityA proactive attitude and willingness to participate actively in continual improvement of the clinics operationsNote this hire will be an Epic Super User who receives extra training on Epic, acting as a point of contact and resource for their peers, providing at the elbow support before, during, and after Epic implementation. During Go-Live: Provide direct support to users, escalate issues, and report optimization/enhancement requests. Post Go-Live: Serve as a go-to resource for ongoing support, participate in training and system optimization, and act as a department representative to the Epic support team.Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hourBenefits: Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance
