About the Role Our client is looking for an analytical and precise Cost Accountant to join their manufacturing finance team in East London . You will analyze manufacturing processes, variances, and inventory valuation to provide critical insights to operational and financial management. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accountant to contribute directly to the operational success and financial health of a key industrial player in the East London region, working within a dedicated and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and standards.

Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and overhead.

Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies between standard and actual costs.

Assist in inventory valuation and cycle counting processes.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing operations.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CIMA) is preferred.

2-4 years of experience in cost accounting , preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data effectively.
