PESCM, located in San Rafael, is the only 24/7 veterinary hospital in Marin County, with specialties in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Urgent Care, Emergency, Radiology and Critical Care. Our mission is to serve pets and people by continually pushing to improve our medicine, our service, our communication and ourselves.

We are not your typical veterinary hospital. PESCM is run by managers who have been with the hospital for a decade or more, all promoted from within. As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for client service as your top priority, including but not limited to:

Keeping clients informed of their pet's appointment journey from start to finish, from check in to discharge, including collecting records, medical histories, intake information, creating and delivering estimates, collecting deposits, finalizing invoices, preparing medications and supplies for discharge, and delivering discharge information as appropriate

Prepare and review medical records accurately and completely

Educate and advise clients regarding PESCM's services and practices

Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and emailing

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in emergency & specialty veterinary hospital setting strongly preferred with experience with animal handling

Ability to multi-task with high decision quality/priority setting in a chaotic environment with completing needs

Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

Friday through Sunday, 8:00pm

Saturday and Tuesday through Thursday, 12:00pm - 10:30pm
