Senior Mechanical Engineering-Design

Overview A rapidly growing market leader in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge industrial systems and equipment seeks to hire a Mechanical Design/Product Development Engineer due to their continued growth. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this newly created position will join a large team and support product design, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing development. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities Create and/or modify 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and models that support new and re-engineered products.
Develop manufacturing plans for new products including bills of material (BOM) and routings.
Coordinate change management processes via PLM software (Windchill).
Support QC, standardization, and cost reduction efforts where applicable.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field) required.
5+ years of product development experience within industrial manufacturing environment(s).
High proficiency with 2D and 3D design and associated CAD platforms (Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO, etc.).
