Business / Corporate Law Attorney

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Emerging Business & Venture Capital practice in their New York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative startups, emerging growth companies, venture capital investors, and private equity sponsors across the full company lifecycle from formation through financing, strategic transactions, and exit events.
Associates will advise clients on a broad range of sophisticated corporate matters, including company formations, venture financings, convertible notes, SAFEs, Seed and Series Preferred financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, securities compliance matters, and executive compensation and employment-related arrangements. The role offers meaningful client exposure, hands‑on responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with founders, investors, and high‑growth businesses operating in dynamic industries.

Requirements Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of relevant experience representing startups, venture-backed companies, venture capital funds, or private equity investors.
Experience handling venture financing transactions and general corporate counseling matters is strongly preferred.
Prior experience at a leading law firm, venture capital fund, or high‑growth technology company.
New York bar required.
