What You'll Do

Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting, including infants from 22 weeks gestation and above
Manage respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and infectious disease conditions
Administer medications via Pyxis system, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
Document patient care in EPIC system accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and support staff
Perform special procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and interventions for neonatal abstinence syndrome
Oversee ventilator settings and adjustments (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
What You Need
Required:
Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in good standing
BLS and NRP certification
Experience in NICU Level III or IV settings
Proficiency in respiratory and cardiovascular patient management
Knowledge of infection control and IV therapy including umbilical line management
Preferred:
Previous experience at Nationwide Children's Hospital or similar facility
Competency in gastrointestinal feeding methods and tube management
Skilled in neonatal medication administration and documentation
