Material Handler Inventory Warehouse

Material HandlerCACI is seeking a Material Handler for our Melbourne, FL office. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This is an on-site position.Responsibilities:Support and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.Primarily responsible for the manual movement, monitoring, and issuing of materials through picking / pulling items to fill pick lists and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners.Additionally responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management, and records maintenance of material itemsPerform required cycle counts of material and maintain records as required to monitor and support inventory accuracy.Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be movedLoad, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by handProvide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or another toolCount, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP systemSupport / complete monthly, quarterly, yearly inventory auditsAble to lift 50 pounds, use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelvesAble to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildingsAbility to prioritize and multitask daily workloadBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Qualifications: Required:US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the workAbility to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing processValid Driver's License requiredDesired:Forklift/reach truck experience5 years' experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractorActive SECRET security clearanceBachelor's degreeExperience using CostpointClass A CDLAbility to prioritize and multitask daily workBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)As a valued team member, you'll be part of a high-performing group dedicated to our customer's missions and driven by a higher purpose – to ensure the safety of our nation.CACI values the unique contributions that every employee brings to our company and our customers - every day.
