RN - Emergency Room - Day Shift

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Day Shift RN shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license in the state.
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
Various nursing certifications as listed (CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM).
Basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
Ability to triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately.
Communicates effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient status and diagnostic studies.
Conducts head-to-toe assessments and utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation and patient care protocols.
Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
