Electrician Journeyman job at Edge Electric, Inc.. Edge Electric is looking for journeyman electricians to join our rapidly growing team. As an electrician with Edge, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that will shape the future of Austin.

Our roles are full-time and we have immediate availability in the Austin area. Hourly pay starts at $28+ per hour, commensurate with experience. Overtime is often available if interested. Consistent, full-time work at competitive pay, with overtime opportunities available

28+ per hour, depending on experience

Health insurance, with a 100% fully-paid plan

Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremen

Erect and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildings

Install electrical components in accordance with building codes and regulations

Work with other electricians and contractors to install lighting fixtures and devices

Diagnose electrical problems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

Measure voltage, amperage, resistance, phase displacement using electrical instruments

Ensure that the work is done in accordance with code, including the National Electrical Code

Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)

5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential

TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (preferred, but not required)

Experience in installation of electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring and fixtures

Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
