As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Manassas, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
communicate with appropriate personnel and request additional assistance when needed.
Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, access control issues, and other security-related conditions to site leadership.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
