Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Pharmacist!
Job Description:
- Join a dynamic pharmacy team on the 3rd floor of Tower A.
- Shift: 9 PM to 8 AM, providing essential overnight support.
Unit Information:
- Team Size: Approximately 30 dedicated staff members
- Equipment: Utilize advanced tools like Pyxis, DoseEdge, and C2 Safe
- EMR Systems: Work with Meditech and Vigilanz for efficient workflow
Key Qualifications:
- Must Have:
- Valid Texas pharmacist license
- ACPE-accredited sterile compounding certification
- Hospital experience
- Preferred:
- Residency training
- Board certification
- Experience with HCA
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders efficiently
- Process missing medication requests
- Engage in sterile compounding as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- A willing and strong communicator
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Work Schedule:
- Every other weekend commitment for most pharmacists
- Night shifts: 7 on / 7 off cycle starting Wednesday nights, 9 PM - 8 AM
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Maroon
