Travel Surgery / Telemetry Registered Nurse - RN

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Tasks include assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, documenting care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing multiple patients, ensuring infection control, advocating for patient needs, and facilitating discharge planning. Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards while maintaining a safe environment and ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications and Skills:

Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to perform required tasks, and the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams under pressure. Proficiency in reading, writing, and technology, along with sensory acuity, is essential.
