RN ICU Weekend Shifts Temporary

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a multi-specialty ICU treating high acuity patients including Neuro, post Cardiovascular surgery, medical, surgical, and trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Block scheduling may be available but not guaranteed
• No on-call requirements
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved per assignment
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: trachs, vents, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, procedural recoveries, and temporary pacemakers
• CRRT experience required
• Charting and equipment includes EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Free parking available outside the inpatient entrance
• May be required to float to all med-surg units in rotation
• 1 orientation shift on the unit
• Unit support includes CNA coverage at 1:12 ratio, a non-assigning charge nurse, centralized telemetry monitoring with a tech, bedside monitoring, 24-hour intensivist coverage, mid-level coverage, a full-time ICU educator, and a CV coordinator

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Center, featuring a 167-bed hospital with a 36-bed ICU. The facility also holds designations as a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity Center, reflecting its commitment to high-acuity and specialized patient care across multiple disciplines. The unit is well-supported with around-the-clock intensivist coverage, dedicated educators, and advanced monitoring systems to ensure a high standard of care.
