POSITIONSUMMARY ReportingdirectlytotheChiefSalesOfficer,theSalesManagerisaresults-drivenprofessionalwhowillsupportgrowththroughsalesprograms,customerrelationshipdevelopment,andnewbusinessprospectingacrossBalfour&Co.’sfullproductportfolio. Thisrolerequiresacustomer-focusedprofessionalwithstrongorganizationalandinterpersonalskills,capableofmanagingmultipleprioritieswhiledeliveringexceptionalservice.Priorsalesexperienceispreferredbutnotrequired,andexperiencewithintheeducationalmarketisaplus.Successrequiresablendof:salesexecution,customerpartnership,eventlogisticscoordination,andstrongExcelandPowerPointskills.Thispositionrequirestravelofatleast25%ofthetimetosupportcustomermeetings,events,andterritorycoverage. ESSENTIALPOSITIONFUNCTIONS SalesStrategy&Execution Supportandexecutesalesstrategiestohelpachieveregionalandorganizationalsalesgoals. Applystructuredsellingprotocols,includingcallplanning,pipelinemanagement,andreporting. Traveltocustomersites,tradeshows,andeventsupto25%ofthetimetosupportsalesexecutionandrelationshipbuilding. CustomerRelationships&Service Collaboratewithcustomerstoassessandanticipateevolvingneeds. Addresspricingandservicedeliveryissuestoensurequalityandcustomersatisfaction. Buildandsustainlong-term,profitablerelationshipsthroughtailoredcustomerengagement. Events,Reporting&Cross-FunctionalCollaboration Supporttheplanningandcoordinationofsalesinitiativesandtrackkeyperformancemetrics. Prepareregular,data-drivenupdatesforseniorleadershipusingExcelandPowerPoint. Participateincross-functionalmeetingswithrelatedareas,suchasmarketing,operations,andproduct,toalignsaleseffortswithbroaderbusinessgoals. SupportstrategicinitiativesandotherresponsibilitiesasassignedbytheCSO. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’sdegreeorhighereducationispreferred. 2+yearsofprofessionalexperience,preferablyinsaleswithexposuretobothemployeeandindependentrepsalesstructure. Demonstratedexperienceinbuildinglong-termcustomerpartnershipsanddrivingsalesexecution. Mustbewillingandabletotravelapproximately25%ofthetime,includingcustomervisits,industryevents,andterritorycoverage. ProficiencyinMicrosoftExcel(formulas,pivottables,dataanalysis,andreporting),PowerPoint,andothercomputer/Officetools. Comfortabledeliveringsalespresentationsandbusinessupdatestoseniorleaders. Participateinbuildingsalesplansalignedwithcorporateobjectives. Provideconsistentfollow-upwithcustomersandprospectstosupportsalesexecutionandretention. Customer-centric,hands-on,andaction-oriented,withtheabilitytothriveinfast-paced,changingenvironmentsandademonstratedcommitmenttothehighestlevelofethicsandintegrity.
