Mahalak Auto Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our Posner Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT Service Department and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a key leadership role for a service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about operational excellence.

As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee daily service operations, manage and develop a team of technicians, and ensure efficiency, profitability, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity

Schedule and assign service appointments to technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly and professionally resolving concerns and escalations

Develop and implement service policies and procedures that improve productivity, customer experience, and profitability

Hire, train, coach, and lead a team of automotive technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development support

Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication and customer service

Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and service advancements, implementing improvements as appropriate

Ensure accurate and thorough service documentation, including repair orders, maintenance histories, and warranty records

Requirements

Requirements

Proven experience in Automotive Service Management

Strong working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and hold teams accountable

Exceptional customer service mindset and communication skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with automotive service software; Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and efficiency

Valid driver’s license
